The Historic City Tours depart starting at 9:30 a.m. daily and continuing until 3:00 p.m. from March through November.
Some combo tours are only offered at specific times. Please read tour details or call our office for more information.

All tours depart and conclude at the Charleston Visitors Center at 375 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403.

We offer tours every day throughout the year except for New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

The Historic Charleston tour makes one stop along the waterfront Battery to give guests an opportunity to take photos. The bus does not make any additional stops. The Historic Charleston + Restored Home tour makes an additional stop at the historic Joseph Manigault House. Our tours are not a hop-on, hop-off service due to restrictions by the City of Charleston.

You do not have to take both tours on the same day. However, guests are responsible for their own transportation if taken on separate days. All combo tours must be taken with 7 days of purchase.

Yes, all ages are welcome and children under 3 who sit in an adult’s lap are free.

There are no restroom facilities on the bus, but there are facilities at the Charleston Visitors Center.

No, food and beverages are not allowed on the bus. Please finish eating or drinking prior to boarding.

Our buses are not handicap-accessible.

Service animals are allowed to accompany passengers on the bus.

No – concealed weapons are not allowed on any of the vehicles Gray Line of Charleston operates.
