39th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run ~ 04/02/2016
Downtown Charleston, SC to Mt. Pleasant, SC
The Cooper River Bridge Run provide a world-class 10-K foot race. Beginning in Mt. Pleasant on Coleman Boulevard, crossing the Cooper River Bridge and finalized in historic downtown Charleston. Walkers welcomed, as well. The Festival finish and Bridge Run Expo feature hundreds of vendors for this popular Event.

Coleman Blvd. at Moultrie Middle School. The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is a gathering place for locals and visitors to leisurely explore the market's treasure trove every Tuesday. The opening bell rings at 3:30 pm signaling the time to buy the freshest local vegetables, fruits, seafood, flowers, baked and canned goods, fresh-cooked meals, and snacks. One of Nicole’s favorite hobbies is gardening (after cooking, of course) and in this hands-on class she will teach you a fresh and seasonal menu to make the most of your spring garden. Menu: Spring Greens Soup; Goat Cheese and Root Vegetable Galette; Shaved Asparagus Salad with Soft Egg; Pan Seared Fish and Spring Onions; Strawberry Cornmeal Cobbler. 5:00pm. $45.

Chef: Nancy Dye. In this hands-on class Nancy will teach you to make two classic cake favorites as well as introduce you to creative and elegant piping and decorating techniques. Party at the Point ~ 04/19/2016
Enjoy Departure “The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band”. The weekly event takes place at the beautiful Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina on Patriots Point and features a full cash bar, including $3 draft beer while available. Entering its 16th year and billed as Charleston’s “premier happy hour concert series,” the long-running annual summer and fall concert series ‘Party at the Point’ is hosted on Friday evenings. A live music, family friendly event hosted beachfront with plenty of food and drinks available for purchase. 5:30pm – 9:30pm. No pets please. 28th Annual Town of Mt. Pleasant Blessing of the Fleet ~ 04/24/2016
The annual Mt. Pleasant, SC Blessing of the Fleet and Seafood Festival is a fun and memorable Event. The shrimping and seafood industries are woven into the Lowcountry’s identity, and the community turns out to show support of local Captains and Crew during the daylong Blessing of the Boats. Participants are treated to a boat parade and ceremonial blessing of the shrimp/fishing fleet, savory seafood samplings sold by some of Mount Pleasant's best restaurants, live music, a craft show, art exhibition, Shag and shrimp-eating contests, and family-friendly activities. Admission and activities are FREE! 11:30am-6:00pm. Hallman Boulevard, Memorial Waterfront Park.

Mount Pleasant’s “Shaggin’ on the Cooper” ~ 04/25/2016

Get ready for Summer with some Shaggin’ Fun! The Hot Pepper Band will get your sweat-on! This popular live Beach Music and Shag Dance event return April 25th to the Mount Pleasant Pier. Gates Open 7:00pm.


Old Village Home, Garden & Art Tour ~ Mt. Pleasant, SC ~ 04/26/2016
Stroll through the historic Old Village of Mt. Pleasant on a self guided Home Tour. Sample delicious food offered by local Chefs while viewing local art work.
